The training seminar “Purification of Natural Radionuclides of Dringking Water and Management Options of NORM” was held in Viimsi, Estonia, on March 3th and 4th 2020.
The two-days seminar was organized mainly organized by the Estonian partners of LIFE ALCHEMIA, University of Tartu, with the collaboration of TalTech and Viimsi Vesi. The seminar was focused on the discussion of different topcis analyzed in the project that deal with different points of view, from technical development to legal and economic aspects.
The LIFE ALCHEMIA seminar was enriched by the contributions of Estonian and international speakers from different organizations like the Estonian Environmental Ministry, the Finnish institution STUK and the World Health Organization. By this way, the operators of drinking water treatment plants and the general audience that attended the seminar could become aware of the problem faced by LIFE ALCHEMIA and the existing solutions to solve it.
