The development of a database compilling the drinking water treatment plants (DWTP) that treat water containing natural radioactivity along Europe is one of the aims of LIFE ALCHEMIA. Our partners from CARTIF have already developed the first databases from Spain and Portugal, and they have been supported by the University of Tartu to develop the Estonian database too. Among other data, the databases show the quality of the drinking water produced in each DWTP in terms of their radioactivity, and the city/town/village supplied.
