LIFE ALCHEMIA was present in the XIII Spanish Meeting of Water Treatment organized by the Spanish Board of Water Treatment in León, Spain. Our partners DIPALME and CIESOL presented a communication entitled “Towards an integral and smart treatment of the natural radioactivity in water provision services”.
They described the problems caused by the presence of natural occurring radioactivity in drinking waters from Almería province and explained the actions that are going to be carried out in the pilot plants of Benizalón, Tahal and Alboloduy to provide an efficient and ecological alternative to the treatments currently used.
